A tenure track position is available at the Department of Psychology, University of Oslo. The position is devoted to the Center for Lifespan Changes in Brain and Cognition (LCBC), and is announced as part of the University of Oslo´s initiative to create a world-leading group in cognitive neuroscience lifespan research.
The candidate will have the responsibility of establishing genetics/epigenetics research within LCBC, both drawing on existing data and extending the material with new data and analyses, collaborating with the existing group as well as extending it with novel studies and collaborators within the overall scope of LCBC. The successful candidate is expected to, in a long-term perspective, also secure new funding for future work.
The successful candidate has a PhD in a relevant field, and has a well-established track record within genetics/epigenetics. Further, the qualified candidate has:
• A record of securing own research funding
• Excellent command of English, orally and in writing
• Experience with working in cross-disciplinary research
• Research interests in cognitive neuroscience
