Advanced MRI image diagnostics (structural and functional, such as MR perfusion, fMRI etc.) within brain tumours and other intra-cerebral pathological conditions
Interested in normal brain development from childhood to adulthood and the aging process
Evaluation of newer Magnetic Resonance (MRI)methods in the diagnosis of Brain Tumors for assessment of clinical efficacy (EMBRACE, Atle Bjørnerud)
MR-based Longitudinal Assessment of Treatment Response in Primary Brain Tumors (Atle Bjørnerud/Inge Rasmussen)
Projects using MRI in Brain development and changes during the life-span (Center for the Study of Human Cognition, Kristine Walhovd and Anders Fjell).

Frontal lesions (FRONT, Anne Kristin Solbakk), patients with dementia/mild cognitive impairment (MCI) (Medcoast,Tormod Faldby), patients with gender identity disorder (SOBER, Ira Haraldsen) and longterm follow up of patients with acute lymfatic leukemia (ALL, Ellen Ruud).
