A&K

Our lab has been officially named as a world-class research environment by the Norwegian Ministry of Education (Kunnskapsdepartementet). The aim of the government-led scheme is to increase funding and opportunities for further development in research labs that have established themselves as leaders in their fields. In addition, the scheme aims to provide more opportunities for such groups to appeal themselves internationally to the very best research talents the world over. As one of five groups in Norway to be chosen, we will receive our share of 31.2 million kroner in allocated funds.

In the words of one of our founders: “with this funding we will be able to recruit some of the most promising young researchers in the world today, and therefore get unique expertise that will strengthen our group substantially.”
