The self-regulating developing brain
A new research paper
One of our recent papers regarding self-regulation and brain development in children has received some press attention in Norway.
This paper, uses data collected in the USA, and indicated that children with high degree of self-regulation (or dicipline) have larger anterior cingulate gurys, a brain area in the mid-front of the brain that is known to be linked to cognitive control processes.
