Research
My research focuses on the neural foundations of durable or long-lasting episodic memories, and age differences therein. During my PhD, I investigated processes that mediate memory durability in younger and older adults, with a particular emphasis on brain activity during the encoding and retrieval stages. I also explored how sleep-related consolidation might predict memory durability. My current work, as a postdoctoral researcher for the UiO:LifeScience AHeadForLife convergence environment, continues to focus on these topics.
