Céline S. Reinbold

Postdoctoral research fellow

Interests

I graduated in Psychology and obtained my PhD in 2018 from the University and University Hospital of Basel, where I aimed to deepen the understanding of psychiatric disorders through the application of novel bioinformatics tools to publicly available data sets. To investigate the underpinnings of complex traits, diseases and disorders I applied computational methods to multiple layers of data such as genomics (genotypes, expression, methylation), brain imaging (structural and functional MRI) and human traits and behavior (memory, personality, disease). I realized during my studies that I want to focus on disentangling complex traits through the investigation of their separate, fine-grained components. Therefore, I joined LCBC in March 2019 and will keep on working on unravelling individual differences that have an impact on health outcomes and aging.
